The start of the month we are going to post a regular Roadworks blog. The expected roadworks, as declared by Tameside, are as follows
Stalybridge
Huddersfield Road – o/s No 150, temporary traffic signals, 29 July to 11 August, electricity work.
Stamford Street – o/s No 12, temporary traffic signals, 4 – 5 August, United Utilities replacing manhole in the carriageway
Stamford Street – o/s No117, Lane closure, 15 – 16 August for new water connection.
Huddersfield Road – junction Grove Rd, temporary traffic signals, Sunday 2 August for BT works.
Mottram Old Road – o/s No 62 to 104, Road Closure, 28 Sept to 23 Oct, Gas main renewal.
Bank Road- junction Moorland Road, temporary traffic signals, 20 July to 14 Sept for gas works.
Mottram Old Road – o/s No 62 to 104, road closure, 28 Sept to 23 Oct, Gas Main renewal.
Public footpath STA/55 - from its junction with Huddersfield Rd to its junction with the footpath STA/58. 27 May to 27 Nov 2015. The diversion will be via footpath STA/52.
Public footpath STA/56 - from its junction with Huddersfield Rd for its full length. 27 May to 27 Nov 2015. The diversion will be via a signed diversion adjacent to the public footpath.
Public footpath STA/70 - for its full length. 27 May to 27 Nov 2015. The diversion will be via signed diversion adjacent to the public footpath. All public footpath closures are for Maintenance to electricity pylons.
